Easy to use
HelpBeam is very straightforward for use by both the customer and the support representative.  It is easy to get started with no training for even novice users.

Web Based Application
Since HelpBeam is a web application, you can support customers anytime, anywhere from any computer.  Just log into the HelpBeam website and go!

Quick Connection
You can easily send your customer the session key to get connected through the phone, email.  Or send them a link through a chat or IM.  The HelpBeam application is small and downloads quickly.

Remote Desktop View/Control
With HelpBeam, you can view the customers desktop as if you were there and share control of the customer's mouse and keyboard.  HelpBeam also automatically scales the view so there's no need to scroll to see the entire desktop.  You can also view in full-screen.

Firewall Friendly
HelpBeam only makes outgoing connections using standard ports, so there is no need to open ports or configure firewalls.

HelpBeam is Secure
You can assure your customers that the support session is secure.  HelpBeam uses 128-bit end to end SSL encryption.  Remote viewing and control must be granted by the customer.  For more information on security, click here.

HelpBeam has no Prerequisites or Dependencies Required to Run
Other remote support solutions require Java to be installed or use a browser plugin to provide access.  HelpBeam has no such dependencies.
  • No need for ActiveX. Your customers might not use Internet Explorer or might have tight security settings that don't allow ActiveX. No problem for HelpBeam.
  • No Java.  HelpBeam does not require Java to connect or to download the HelpBeam application.
  • Compatible with any browser.  Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera. 
  • Works on all versions of Windows from Win98 up.  98/ME/NT/2000/2003/XP/Vista
  • Works on a non-administrator account.  Your customers might not have administrative access to their computers.  HelpBeam can run with very limited access.  If your customer can download the HelpBeam application and connect to the internet, you can connect to them.

No Installation Necessary
Neither support representatives or customers have to install anything to use HelpBeam.  And at the end of the support session, your customer can opt to delete all traces of the HelpBeam application.
